Thanksgiving Holiday Outfit Guide!

It's the holiday season, today being Thanksgiving to be exact.  Whether you're staying home like I am, hosting Thanksgiving dinner at your home, or enjoying a night of "house hopping" visiting relatives and enjoying the festivities, here are three outfits for each occasion that will still keep you chic, stylish, and trendy this Thanksgiving day!

Relaxed Thanksgiving Holiday

This outfit is what I will be rocking today. If you're going to be enjoying a low key Thanksgiving with your close family or friends and just plan on relaxing, having fun, and enjoying each other's company this outfit is key.  A cozy earth tone/neutral sweater acts as the staple which can be paired with some trendy distressed jeans.  Camel colored boots, gold accessories, and natural makeup sets this outfit off.

The Stylish Host

If you have taken on the task of hosting Thanksgiving dinner, kudos to you! Once all of the hard work is done, you need something classic yet stylish to accommodate the lovely feast you just slaved over.  I prefer a classic black cocktail dress with silver embellishment paired with a silver, black, or silver & black pointed toed heel.  Since the embellishment is already in the dress there's really no need to add a necklace, but a small piece of jewelry such as a bracelet or diamond earrings will bring this look in.  And to top it off always use a red or statement lip with any black dress, it makes the entire outfit pop.

Upscale Holiday Outfit for Thanksgiving

If you have decided to leave the cooking up to your relatives and just want to stuff your face with out any of the work, or if your family has organized a elegant dinner then this is the outfit for you.  A party dress is good for seeing multiple relatives, especially the ones you haven't seen all year, it's like making a first impression all over again.  Something flashy is good, and then playing down the accessories with solid colors, and the purple lip is very fun for the occasion.  Since you'll actually be leaving the house you're gonna need a coat-unless you stay in LA and if you do-I hate you lol. So to keep warm but still look your best, grab a cape coat.
